I'm restoring my steel roof and back panel (78 FJ45lpb). The damage is managable but I need pics of the underside front corners showing detail. The ends of the mounting rails to front sill are rusted to nothing. I'd like to fab it right. Thanx.

Mine were a bit crusty too. The PO had gooped the corners up with some filler. Not cool! I took these last spring. My body guy has it now so I can post some more pics when he's done.

I'll take some more pics of mine tonight. FWIW, I'd suggest you contact Gozzard and stick on a new fiberglass roof.

More pics of a done roof would be great. I've seen a Gozzard roof. It was nice. Unfortunatly I have more time, patience and foolishness to believe in my welding than money. I'm trying to document this adventure, hopefully I can get some pics up in the future. So far it's going OK.
