I did some searching around. I only found one thread dealing with the 2F. It had a comment.

What are the possibilities to adapting roller rocker arms onto the 3FE rocker arm assembly. I would not being looking to add any power just thought it might allow things to run a bit more smoother.

I haven't seen them. Try searching for some Chevy 235 roller rockers from some specialty shops. I don't know that it would be worth the money though.

I was just curious about it. Im not sure it would be cost effective but then again it would be neat to see what could be developed. I noticed GM and Mopar has some shaft roller rocker arms. I didnt check ford or any other vehicle make.

I spoke with the machine shop today. He was heavy into racing when he was younger. Said that there is a chrysler rock arm that has the same dimensions and would work. Some mods still need to be done.

So I think that question is answered. I have no plans to do this to a tractor engine but I was curious if it could be done and what parts would be involved.

Speak to a company in southern cali called rocker arm specialists.

they can do anything you want, Even offset grind the rockers so that you will have a larger ratio on the rockers themselves..

Will it mean anything to a F series motor? Nope..

Yeppers... Toyota used a tractor engine for the cruiser.... it is the same engine they use in forklifts and other industrial equipment. The B series diesel engine is also used in forklifts and frig trucks.

Personally I would not be interested in doing it... but I was interested if it was possible and what parts would be used.

lol... I am sure some others that turbo their cruiser engines might be interested in another mod.

The roller thing really only helps out when you have really stiff valve springs. Stock springs do not put enough pressure on the shafts/rockers to cause any issues.
