Well after seeing this in the Pitt Meadows Day parade today, I guess they are gearing up for some playoff riots. And the old Rover truck was kinda neat.

That tank lives at the Surrey RCMP normally (go figure) but the add on on the front is new. I've had a chance to have an up close look at that thing and wow, nicely built. Don't even want to guess how much that thing weights, but I know Glenn would have a heart attack.

A shop that I get some work done by built the "pedestrian guard" on the front. It makes anything any of us have attached to the front of our trucks look very pansy. It even has an attachment that sticks out of the front like a medieval lance for breaking down doors. Yee ha!

Now that is an ego trip, I do not see the necessity for it. Absolute waste of taxpayers money, the rule should be that they have to smash one building a month and hammer one vehicle a month to keep it.

I was thinking the same thing. All that does is create a hazard for it to get hung up on crap. IMO, it doesn't even look cool. If the plate on the front can't take a bump, then add more plate or a 6" rubber bumper.

They should sell that useless lump of s*** and put the funds towards more police boats. Check out the copglasses on that guy sticking out of the hatch- bet the mirror is on the inside of those babys.

Thats a Bedford truck. They used to sell those off from the British Army base in Suffield Alberta. 2 1/2 Ton 4x4 troop and equipment carrier. Slow and HEAVY.

One of the Roverlanders has a Bedford just like that, may even be his. Cool truck.

I always wanted to make a 4x4 camper out of one of these, a Land rover 101, forward control, with a Toyota power train of course.

That may be the only British vehicle with reliable electrics. That church on the roof may negate the influence of 'The Prince of Darkness'. ( aka Lucas)

All my British vehicles had three positions on the head light switch OFF, DIM and FLICKER. They did make up for the Lucas electrics with a hand crank handle to start the motor and little levers so that you could hand operate the windshield wipers. Our submarines we bought form the UK came with sails and screen doors as well as you don't dare submerge one. I've had plenty of experience with Lucas LOL. Still, I think that would make a hell of a camper.

Those options are only available on newer rovers.
