8:30 sounds a whole lot better to me too. It won't take me long to air down either with my puny little tires. See yall in the mornin!!!

OK, by popular demand, 830am it is.

We should corrale between 8am-830am.

Beo, are you bringing the Starbucks? I'd like a double frappacino/latte/extra cream/extra sugar/with caramel please....

:flipoff2:

See you all in the AM.

The coffee would be cold by the time we get to that side of town. I will, as always, stop on my way and get one for me. :D

Onur will bring a spare CB for Zen80. Right now, I am bringing only 1 spare CB for Rudy. Does the guy with the Rubicon need to borrow one? Anyone else?

Ross says he will get up early tomorrow. We'll see.

I think that :princess: "coffee" that Beno ordered was supposed to be cold anyway. It sounded pretty good though... can you grab me one as well? However, I'd like mine to be low-fat decaf.... I'm trying to keep myself in "armcharm" condition for my wife :cool:

Had a great time gentlemen, as always. :beer:

Sorry I had to bugger out and get home to prep for work.

So, Beo--get those pics Ross took up ASAP...I wanna see yer face while we were wrenching underneath your truck...

:grinpimp:
:eek:

:flipoff2:

Good day gents.

Sunport

Great times. Good to see everyone out there and a big thanks to Graham the trial master!!! As always after you wheel you want new parts. My bumper took a pretty heavy hit and a rear locker would be sweet. That said, everytime I take the forty out I am amazed at the obstacles a stock 30 year old vehicle with AT tires can overcome.

Landcruiser = Quality

I have a few decent pics if anyone can tell me how to post them. I tried, but too big for just attachments. What is that photobucket?

Rudy

Rudy,
You can use IrfanView on Windows computers to resize to 800x640 (or less) Once the size is reduced you can attach the pic. It is a free utility. I will post a link if you cannot Google it.

Mike,

I found IvanView, guess that is what you meant. Still not coming up small enough. I would rather zip up the pics and send them to someone, so I get back in the garage and get some work on the 40 done.

For the record....

This was an impromptu outing organized by Onur. We decided to get a fairly early start which was a good decision since the day got hotter; probably over 100* in the Rio Puerco area later in the day.

Trail Leader:
=========
Graham in his LX450 with his friend Mike riding shotgun and his daughter in the car seat.

Guests:
========
Chad in his beautiful '97 Land Cruiser, 40th Anniversary and Sage.
Eric with his heavily modified Rubicon that went over everything and made it look easy.

Other HDC members:
=================
* FJCruiser - Mike Belcher on his final trip while in NM. Mike leaves Thursday for Louisiana but he promised to join us for the October outing to Moab.
* FZJ80 - Onur
* FZJ80 - Mike and co-pilot, Ross. Ross got a couple of hours behind the wheel and tackled a couple of obstacles. He smiled a lot yesterday!
* 4Runner - Rudy
* FJ40 - Rory with his 2 dogs, Beans 'n Franks

Carnage: I busted the rear sway bar mount on the same rock that took out Evan's rear sway bar mount a year or two back. Onur wants to call that spot "Broke Bar Mountain." He is one strange dude, that's for sure.

Lotsa fun guys!
