Ring Car Cam and ODB-II port cover on 96 (1 Viewer)

I jsut recived one of these. Ring Car Cam It's pretty cool, it connects to your ODB2 port and works with a normal ring app. However I can no longer put the cover over the use box and port because it's too thick. Does anyone know if you unscrew the port Can you pass it through the hole then it comes out of and then acts it from underneath the dash? I don't really wanna have to remove the whole fuse box, or cut the wire on the new ring device.

Yes, there are 2 screws that hold the OBD port to the fuse box housing. Unscrew those and then you can pull the port down behind the dash.
