Hello Everyone!

I was looking at some new rims and tires on craigslist, i found a set of 17x9 0 offset BP: 6-139.7,285/70R17 anyone know if this will fit a 97 80 series?

I believe 0 offset on. 17x9 wheel means the wheel mounting surface is in the very center, so 4.5” of backspacing.

I believe the wheel will fit

The size and offset will fit, the only other thing to check is going to be the center bore size to make sure it fits over the hub.

Here are stock FZJ80 wheel specs.

Bolt pattern 6 x 5.5”, 6 x 139.7mm
Stock backspacing is 4.5”
Stock Offset is 0”
Center bore is 106mm
PCD is 139.7 (stud)
Stock is 16”x 8” with Offset of 0mm

The wheel you described should fit as long as the bore is 106 mm.
