Not sure if there are any sci-fi fans on the board...
Caprica is a sci-fi series that is set on some other planets in some other time. The series is filmed in Vancouver. To make the vehicles look more "alien", they use a lot of RHD JDM imports such as Delica's for paddy wagons, Figaro's, SCargo's, etc. For the keen JDM eye it's kind of humorous as we see these occasionally across Canada. In Vancouver, they're everywhere. For the US audience, most of these will look totally "foreign".
I also noticed they used an old Citroen which most viewers have likely never heard of nor ever seen before.
