I am just wondering what other people's experience has been in insuring their RHD rigs in Ontario.

I am hoping to buy a JDM Cruiser, and would like to be able to insure the thing for less than my first born child.

I asked my State Farm Agent today about insuring a HDJ81, and explained to him it is not really much different than a FJ80 or FZJ80. They will insure the RHD truck but at some higher rate because their are hard to fix or some other BS, basically going on the BS the ICBC put out saying they are more prone to accidents.

$280 a month.

That is what I paid when I was 17. I have no tickets or accidents and a 5 star record or whatever you call it. I am 27 years old.

I have driven a RHD BJ71 , aside from adjusting to strong arm steering (no P/S) I did ok and adjusted fine imo. (I think Crushers may agree)

Cheers
