is it possible for me to reverse my pit man arm facing front? what will be the effect reversing it, i'd like to move the gearbox further back for me to be able to mount the gb directly to the frame, and avoiding destroying the front mask of my truck

Yes you can flip it 180 degrees....

It would steer bass ackwards then however.... ;)

If you moved it far enough back that you could run it to the back side of a double arm like a 4x4 labs arm, but I don't know if I've seen that done.

Is there a reason why that couldn't be done?

I know you couldn't use both sides of a 4x4 labs set up. you'd have to run just the right side and a conventional arm on the left. You might be able to mount a box in nearly the stock location and pivot the arm over the largest arc of the spring, rather than running close to the end of the spring and having clearance problems when compressed.

Just thinking hypothetically now. :D

FJ60 box is that way if you swapped to it or the scout box thats that way yes ... but as said above your box now wont do it :frown:
