My reverse indicator on dash remains lit no matter what gear im in. the gear im actually in is lit as well. reverse lights stay on and backup camera active all the time. this suddenly started while adding thermal barrier and carpet and a sub. So the interior is bare metal atm. Search shows some similar problems the NSS/park neutral but everyone always reports no-starts since the vehicle thinks its in reverse. Mine starts up just fine. Of course this is happening as im about to begin a week long trip to Idaho/Utah.

I removed the neutral safety switch and the reverse indicator is still lit. nothing else lights up now, of course. Sigh

Hmm well i did pull the dash and replace. maybe i plugged something in weird

For anyone interested: Problem turned out to be something about the rearview camera. When I unhooked the ground wire it didnt change anything so I pulled my NSS and made a bunch of work for myself with partialy broken parts. When the NSS had no effect I went back and pulled the power wire on the camera and my problem went away. Big sigh.
