Installing my flywheel right now and the Haines manual says to use new tab washers. When I took the flywheel off there were no washers installed. Did all years and models use lock washers? Am I good to just use thread lock and torque to spec?
Reusing flywheel bolts? Ya or na?

I reused mine.
Get new ones. Cheap insurance.

Clean them off with a wire wheel/brush and re-use them. 60 ft-lbs is not going to stretch them significantly. My 1980 didn't have any lock washers; I used blue Loctite.

Thanks. I just reused them and used a little red lock tight.
