So what have people done to add another level of safety with 3-point belts? I know I should've done this before paint and body work, but I was dragging my feet on the issue. It's cool being stock, but it isn't all that safe. Of course, the 17 gallons of fuel under the wife is another story.

I picked up a set of roll bar "T" clamps that had the welded nut for the 3rd row seat belts... then source a set of 3 point belts from your local auto puller in the color you desire. Measure twice, pull once.

Or you can buy a seat belt online once you have the anchor up high on the roll bar. You should be able to do this without messing with any paint.

Well, then you're gonna have to fab something while using the hard top sides so... unfortunately you're gonna have to ding up your fresh paint to mount anchors.

And that gas tank hasn't blown up in 52 years either ;)
