Hi,

My other car is a BJ 73 with manual transmission, and I normally start in 3rd gear low when driving in compromised conditions like sand, for example. Unfortunately, my 1994 HDJ 80 with automatic transmission (A442F), does not have an equivalent, and when accelerating from 1st low she looks (and sounds) like a jet in the process of taking off. Not the best for delicate terrain, by the way. I have just learned about the '2nd' button to start in 2nd low, see this video:

.

I wonder if there is a simple way to retrofit a '2nd' button. It could even be that a hidden connector has been waiting for years to be woken up, as I already did with the CDL switch upgrade. I have searched in the forum archives, but could not find anything addressing this point. Any help will be much appreciated.
