Hey everybody,

I'll be dropping in my freshly rebuilt 1F with tranny adn tcase in the upcoming months and Im curious, Do I rewire now? or wait until the day I repaint?
I can't afford to do a complete frame off right now, and the family is anxious to start wheeling once I can put the drivetrain back in.

To everyone who did a major restor, what was your order of events?

Paint then wire... Its cleaner that way, and your wires wont get in the way. Then drop your engine in...

Kinda what I've been thinking. But I cant repaint for at LEAST a year due to money being tight.

So I guess I'll drop in the drive train and keep using the old wiring.


On a side note: I need to clean and reseal my fuel tank(s). What have you guys done for resealing? How much? where?
