Havent started the 86 FJ60 2F motor in months and will be planning to have it running within a month or two. I replaced gaskets and all seals but did not rebuild. Before starting, do I need to turn the oil pump with a bit of some type, or do I need to put some oil in the cylinders to help with initial lubrication? Thanks.

just start it up and drive it, it will make oil pressure as soon as you crank it with the starter
And you would have to reset your ignition timing from taking the distributor out.

Hi, Would not hurt to put a teaspoon of oil in each spark plug hole. Mike

Don’t waste your time

You're prolly ok, but it wouldn't hurt to squirt a little Marvel Mystery Oil (or other light oil) in each cylinder the night before start up. I would if you've stored the engine with the int/exh ports open like the pix show in your other manifold bolt thread. But I'm anal.
