I removed my thermostat and correctly installed it with the previously missing upper gasket (1986 FJ60). Everything is nice and warm. BUt, when I got back from my test drive, there was coolant coming out the radiator reservoir tank overflow hose. I am suspicious that the hoses are on backwards. Right now, the hose coming from the radiator to the tank goes to the fitting on the tank lid that does not have the tube that goes into the tank. The drain hose is attached to the port in the lid that goes to the tube that sticks down in the reservoir. Is this right?

They are backwards. Hose from radiator must go to the dip tube so it can suck bugjuice back into rad as it cools.
