The previous owner converted the rear suspension to coil over but left the air pump intact. It recently started turning on randomly so Ill need to either disconnect or remove it completely.

Before I do I was wondering if its possible to use as an air pump for tires on the trail?

Not for tires. It doesn’t have enough power for tires.

Too low of volume mainly. Might pump up a tire over 20 min. Not sure what max psi is either.

I would just ditch it and go with a portable one like this one. I have had one for the last few years and have zero complaints. It inflates pretty quickly (2-4 min for each 33” tire to go from 18 to 38 psi)

This sounds like a fantastic idea. Any way to figure out what kind pressure it puts out?
