Waiting on an Amayama order approval to get parts but in the meantime I've got some stainless wide flange rivnuts to try for securing the metal trim panels. The factory holes are drilled to about 8.5 mm so the m6 rivnuts don't fit unless I enlarge every hole to 9 mm so I've decided to opt for m5 rivnuts as they should (will test first) compress against the factory metal of the door skin sufficiently.

I've saved some really nice glass panels off a pair of spare scrap doors (flare type, but a big damaged) that have quite dark tint, and my pair of original doors both had good manual window mechs.

What sort of stuff is used to spray inside the door skins for rust protection just out of interest? Is there any sort of aerosol version of stuff like Waxoyl? Not sure I want to try fish oil type rust preventer inside doors.
