Replacing a Japanese stereo (1 Viewer)

I have a Jap import LC100VX limited 2000 model. The touchscreen stereo has integrated AC controls and Factory NAV. I have tried to find a Tesla style replacement headunit but not having much luck due to the AC controls being incorporated. Any suggestions as to what I can do to upgrade the stereo or translate to English and load a different set of maps for NZ instead of Japan?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe get a screen from a local Lx470 it should at least have english buttons on it

Have you tried putting your VIN into Partsouq to get some part numbers, and then searching for compatible parts?
