Replaced the globes on my 2005 LX470, ride is harsher than ever

Yes, check that AHC control switch, makes a difference on my LX470.
ALSO, the roads. Where I live there are a lot of roads that feel rough with all my vehicles.

From what I can tell, yes, but I'm not sure how dramatic of a change it should be.
On my trucks its very noticeable. Full Sport is quite firm with the truck unloaded. I feel it most on interstate separation joints. Full Comfort has a lot more cushion on dips and sway in the corners.

You can pull the switch apart and inspect the circuit board. Corrosion will be evident. Thats something you can check without software.

But like others have mentioned: get those pressures checked so you can rule it out.

I have OBD fusion, and with that app and an OBD Bluetooth dongle you can read pressures and codes. You’ll need to purchase the Fusion plug in for your year, about $10. About $50 all in.

You’re just shooting in the dark without something to check the pressures. When you have the ability to check pressures, read the first post in “the ABCs of AHC” and you’ll be good to go.
Agreed, and I'm working to get techstream loaded on a old laptop. It's just been a LONG time since I dealt with PC configs.

Hope to have some definitive numbers this weekend.

OK, so I FINALLY got Techstream up and running so I could pull some data. The car is not parked 100% level right now, it's close, but it's late and raining ;)

I'll do a fully level test tomorrow, but here is what I was getting on L, N, and H:

ParameterLow HeightNeutral/Normal HeightHigh Height
FR Height-1.8"-0.8"1.6"
FL Height-2.4"-1.3"1.2"
RR Height-1.5"-0.2"1.8"
FR Pressure10 Mpa-g6.8 Mpa-g10.5 Mpa-g
Rear Pressure7.5 Mpa-g6.5 Mpa-g7.5 Mpa-g
Accumulator Pressure10.5 Mpa-g10.5 Mpa-g9.1 Mpa-g

Oddly, my steering angle was -371.25 deg while pointed straight ahead, is that normal?

So I'm seeing some threads where it's saying if the steering wheel is greater than 30-35 degrees from center, the shocks are hydraulically linked. Seeing that my angle is WAY off (-371 degrees), I wonder if that is part of the issue.... The quest continues tomorrow!

My steering angle is way off too, but it seems I cannot reset it with Techstream and I have to physically unplug it under the steering column. Haven't worked up the motivation to dismantle my plastics yet. I'd be keen to hear how you get on!

I've done this exact thing - it's super easy!

can you explain what you mean? My steering angle is way off too and i cannot reset it. Does unplugging it reset it? if this what you mean? If so, can you tell me which plug to remove?

There's a few threads on here - if you've got a VGRS-equipped cruiser, you should be able to reset it via tech stream. Or, you can unplug a sensor harness & plug it back it.

yes, I have a VGRS equipped LX470. Been having issues with VGRS but i have managed to make it work again. Techstream doesn't work in resetting it but i was never aware you could reset it by unplugging sensor wire.

I have read many threads on here about VGRS but never came across manually resetting it by unplugging it, it was about ZPC etc (which i haven't done yet since VGRS works fine at the moment). I did unplug the power to VGRS ECU to disable it without causing VSC light and plugged it back recently to try and sort it out. But never figured out the steering angle issue.
