I've collected all the parts to rebuild my front axle but it is WAY too cold for me to work on it right now but I wanted to do something. Would it be a bad idea for me to go ahead and replace my wheel bearings and seals in my hub now (I can bring the entire assembly into the house where it's warmer) or should I wait until I rebuild the entire front end?

I would do it all at the same time but you can easily make the wheel bearings a separate project and do them now. It will mostly be double work though because you will do a lot of the job again. A little practice will be good for you though. :D

I did it, but only because I knew I had a bad bearing.
