Hi Everyone!

I am planning to replace my front differential carrier. I have a new OEM unit. I had a whining sound in the original unit that went away when I removed the front driveshaft so this is the next step.

Anything I should consider before digging into this project? I do not have a book for the car and plan to just give it a go. I have some decent skills and have completed projects of this size in the past, but I figured you all might have some words of wisdom before going at it!

Also any thoughts on repairing and selling my stock unit? I will inspect and look for something obvious.

Thanks for any help!

Replace all the diff bushings and axle seals when installing the new diff. Good time to do any other front end work that might be needed (ball joints, control arm bushings, steering rack, CV axles, wheel bearings, etc).
