Repaired Windshield Wipers (1 Viewer)

After about a year of having the driver wiper POP out I decided to dig in a swap out the parts since I couldn't find a replacement for the little plastic piece ( photo 3). Truck has 130K just for re reference. It was an easy fix but the hardware for the link assembly was $160. I also replaced a rusting wiper arm. Pic of the receipt for part numbers and prices. One hammer repair if anyone needs to do it.

Was it difficult to remove the plastic cover that sits over the entire assembly and should keep junk from falling from outside the car down into the assembly? My truck has a bunch of crap in there that I'd like to get out.

Easy, just pry it up.
Mine was very clean inside.
