Here's a quick DIY on how I repair shakey mirrors on an 80. I simply use a paper clip and JB Weld. I bend the clip to cover the area that hooks on the base. I scuff the area in order to give the JB Weld better adhesion. I then put the clip in place and done! On this repair there was only one broken tab. I spread some JB Weld around the tab that was not broken in order to reinforce it and hopefully prevent it from breaking.
