Are they held together by any agent or 3M tape that I would need to apply new one afterwards or is it a simple click and stick without anything else?I've pulled all my sills to clean under them and run wiring, mine are not illuminated, but they just pop right off, really easy. what he said. However, you need to remove the entire plastic piece. Just held in by clips, not tape or seal. Unplug the connector for the lighted 'Land Cruiser.' Once out you can remove the metal sill piece from the larger plastic piece from behind. I've never done it, but just had mine apart last night running wire and notice there is a tab and you'll need to slide it out from the plastic piece in a very specific way and it will be far easier with the whole thing removed.I've pulled all my sills to clean under them and run wiring, mine are not illuminated, but they just pop right off, really easy.
