Hey Guys,
Since your all junking your rear spoilers anyone mind shipping one my way. Lost my on I-95 Fort Lauderdale.
Happen to like mine. Unable to find on ebay. Anyone interested in selling, donating, or trading.

I have an 06 lc and want to remove the spoiler, does the third light from the spoiler fit in the spot on the hatch or do i need to order a different light?
+1, read the entire post hoping to get some advise on removing my 06 spoiler.
Also, I thought the spoiler acted as a diffuser for when you open the rear windows. Has anyone had any exhaust fumes creep back into the car while driving on the highway with the rear windows swung open?

No fumes come in thru the wing-windows, however your rear (hatch) window will get dirty much faster. Also it won't stay clear in the rain or snow. You'll need to use the wiper much more often if you want to see out of it.
My '98 has the spoiler and my '03 does not. Wish my '03 had one...

I am also thinking of ditching mine, but I will need to buy the parts mentioned in the post:
(1) 81570-60061 LAMP ASSY, center stop (high mount lamp)
(2) 90179-05011 high mount lamp grommet
(2) 90950-01865 high mount lamp clip
I am hoping somebody would sell them to me. I posted a want to buy add but got no response.

I have googled the part number '81570-60061' and I get a list of hits, mostly US suppliers of new ones. Pricing is in the $200 range for the brake light alone. But they don't always ship to Canada and when they do, the price goes up due to ridiculous shipping costs, brokerage fees, tax etc..
In the end it would be cheaper to order the parts at the local Toyota dealership. So I am still hoping for a used one from a fellow mudder.

I priced out a 3rd brake light at the local Toyota dealer here in Canada (part number 81570-60061): $ 399 (tax not included) WTF? Twice the average price compared to the US?
I finally got the chance to delete my spoiler yesterday.

I am happy with the result. The job was pretty straight forward thanks to this thread, although I managed to brake some clips while removing in door garnish.
I found a couple of black interior retainers and siliconed them into the holes. I think it turned out pretty good. I still have to clean it up a bit, but it's just too cold outside.

To anyone not liking their rear spoiler... If you would like to part with it, the LC we just got is missing its rear spoiler. The mounts are there, just the wing is missing. Willing to pay shipping and a reasonable price for the unit.

Also, color is an issue, I don't know if they are matched to the factory paint, but beige (factory color) or black is preferred.

Seems like this gets bumped up every few years, now its my turn as I just purchased a 100 with no rear wing deflector but it has bolts in its place that someone plugged with.
Not sure if my fellow ih8mudders found one above but I hope someone has a rear wind deflector that could fit a 2001 LX470, black would be preffered but I could always repaint if needed.
Please let me know if you have one available I could purchase?

Im also herre to bump. Im looking for the mounting pillars for the rear wing. a low garage took mine off. If anyone has the mounting brackets laying around, please let me know. Im on the hunt. Looking to fit a 1999 LC. Thanks Much Todd 714-900-2803
