I'm half way through my pump replacement and I'm having issues getting the pump loose. I've removed both bolts and the high pressure hose from the pump and it's stuck there pretty good. Is there any advice to try to break the pump free?

Tap gently with hammer, or maybe a little harder with a mallet.

The pump is secured with two nuts on studs if I recall right, then disconnect the lines and pull back

I've got the nuts off of the studs, but the pump is really stuck on there. I'm replacing it, so I'm not worried about damaging it, but it's tough to get much momentum in there to hit it and knock it loose.

I had to tap mine with brass hammer, light love taps, just enough to "break the seal".

Some people add FIPG on the seal so they are stuck on -- so give it a whack.

To be clear, it should not need any sealant.

In through wheel well or down through the top with piece of 2x2 and big hammer on other end!
