removing glue on front door seal??

Having a heck of a time removing old yellow glue on the front door of our house. Brake cleaner does not remove it. Scotch pad is very labor intensive. Any other ideas?

Is it hard or pliable? Is the door painted, are you trying to save the finish?
A heat gun is one of my favorite tools for adhesive removal. Also, you could try 3M Adhesive Remover, mineral spirits for gentle action, MEK for a more aggressive approach.

Glue came off with a hand steamer. We are tying to really winterize our townhouse.

I was also thinking of renting a FLIR infrared viewer, to see if the insulation has fallen in the walls, and fill them up with filling.
