Removed push rod cover and something doesn't look right

I removed push rod cover and something doesn't look right. Does that look normal in the pictures below?

Yep, your cam shaft is just below the lifters shown and rise up and down in those bores.

Thank you. I've been trying to track down a loud tapping sound. Thought that might have had something to do with it
