Removal of rear driveshaft (1 Viewer)

Are you guys jacking up your truck before you remove the rear driveshaft? I'm having a tough time getting to the hardware on the diff end. This should be easy, so why am I struggling so much?

I used a half inch drive long socket wrench, and a gear wrench. Sometimes its easier to use the socket. Sometimes, have to use the gear wrench to loosen. Mark were it is sitting before you take it off and MAKE SURE YOU BLOCK THE REAR TIRES.

Also, used long extensions on the socket with a little bend.
