Relocate the winch d solenoide pack and switch to synthetic rope

I had to remove the grid to get some grass off the radiator and then this happened. don't ya just know it

The old pack sat on top of the bumper and was, in the way, frying in the sun, and badly wired ( PO obviously). So I rewired and put it under the bonnet ( Hood) . On the 76 HZ it fits behind the right head light under the air intake, bolting i on to the wheel well. At the same time ditched the wire cable and roller hawse for synthetic rope and aluminium fairlead and got a 13KG weight saving.

Just need a bit more tidying up of the heavy wires and cutting off the old roller hawse attachments. Got to pull the lot again as the bumper needes painting and the winch needs rebuilding ( not free spooling very freely)

What diameter winch line do you have?
Thinking of switching from steel.
