I am VERY tired of not being able to see in the dark when I go in reverse. I live in a rural area that has 0 street lights. As well, it is very difficult to see in reverse when you have a trailer hooked up.

So, I was thinking about mounting some aux lights to the roof rack and was thinking about a relay that would trigger a full 13+v when the reverse lights are live i.e. relay triggered by the reverse light voltage. What type of relay should I use? I do not think the current in the reverse light circuit will power the type of lights I am thinking of..................

why not just run a regular old bosch relay? then run 12ga or 14ga wire from a fused source on the battery to the light(s) in back and you are off to the races.

OK. Where do I find a Bosch relay and which relay do I need i.e. rating?

How do you wire those or does it come with a schematic of some sort? Where do you take the fused link from i.e. battery, fuse block?

You're gonna double as a mobile paparazzi light eventeer?
