I am installing a newly decked set of manifolds for my 84 fj60. I can't seem to get the last bolt installed, the bolt closest to the firewall. The gasket is a felpro, and every other bolt went on like butter.

I have tried moving the adjustable exhaust manifold "wing", jiggling and prying it around, but can't seem to get the bolt past the gasket.

    Help....

I allways do that bolt first since it is the hardest one to get to.

I should have done that bolt first. right you are.

I just got it in after staring at the misaligned hole with a mirror and moving the manifold with a long azz pry bar. Jesus...it is these hour long efforts that make this hobby frustrating.

    now it is done. phew.
