I don't mean to hijack this thread but I have a question. I want to register my 55 as well, the thing is that I changed the complete drivetrain (made a crawler, 1 tons, LT1, 40's and roll cage). Is it going to be harder for me to register my rig?

FWIU, as long as the engine is the same model year as the rig or NEWER, AND has all its factory smog gear/ controls, you should be good. The key is having that LT1 in its factory configuration w/ all its smog gear. Ps what year LT1, I have a harness and computer and optispark base, and I no longer have any use for these things.
What year 55. This should be over in the piggy section.....
