I'm getting parts together to regear my 2017 to the OEM 3.91 gears.

I have found a 3.91 front carrier /clamshell from a 2014 tundra that had the 4.6v8.

Where I need clarification is the rear, I know a 100 series/470 or 200 series from 08 to 15 will bolt in. But they aren't as readily available or the wreckers want to sell the complete axle.

Does the 9.5" rear from the same 4.6 v8 Tundra bolt straight in? I see lots more available from wreckers?

Thanks all

IIRC Tundra rear diffs have two spider gears instead of the 200’s four.. even if they do bolt in.

Did you try car-part.com or one of the shops doing a lot of cruiser work? Ed Martin? Slee?

Thanks for the info on the spider gears, that might a reason to stick a locker in there.

I hadn't thought of asking Ed Martin or Slee if they had any take offs from customers, good idea.
