Selling my 1978 FJ40 - more details in video and ad but here's the highlights:
If you have more questions shoot me a mail at ben (at) sarpinz.com
- All upgrades down without cutting/molesting the original chassis and could easily be reversed
- Cummins R2.8 custom install in 2019
- Toyota H55F 5spd
- Toyota split transfer case
- Tom Woods custom driveshafts
- Vintage Air AC/Heating
- Tuffy Security console
- Aftermarket roll bar - matches stock look but much stronger
- Interior has been sound deadened and updated - prepped and Line-X'd (before pictures available, no rust or patches, just sound/heat deadening), custom interior carpeting, custom floor mats (2 sets included, 1 has never been used), custom Leather interior (with heated front seats) sewn to match stock Toyota stitch patterns (done in the same tobacco brown leather used in the Ford King Ranch Edition trucks)
- Custom 4 speaker sound system with amp and sub hidden under drivers seat, it sounds much better than any FJ40 has the right to.. two speakers are mounted in standard kick panel location (vents unobstructed) and two custom boxes were designed and mounted behind rear jump seats with mid-range boxes incorporated for increased mid-bass). All quality components.
- Baja Designs fog lights, back-up lights, and interior light - controlled by Switch-Pros switch panel placed in stock head unit location (using custom bracket so no change to dashboard).
- Cool Cruisers of Texas Hell for Stout front bumper
- Warn M8274 winch completely torn down and re-built by Warn factory tech.
- Old Man Emu 2" lift with Bilstein shocks
- Icon side mirrors and window visors
- Dakota Digital Dash (the Icon version which uses a font that is much closer to stock Toyota to maintain stock appearance).
- Lots of hardware has been swapped out and refreshed (badges, latches, nuts/bolts, etc.)
- Asking price: $69,888
