Yeah this is cool, all other landcruisers should be banned
I think white is the only original africa colour but for now the freeborn red 309 (ral3020) is a good title.
But not any darker than this I think.

Sorry if these are to many pics, I think you allready got your answer but no 60 is the same

Great thread. If anyone is looking to sell their red 60/62, PM me. I am looking for something in close to original condition with little to no rust to by my daily in town driver. I am not looking for something expedition ready.

My truck was also Freeborn Red when new, now is faded up top with some repainted spots down lower.

Henry; 88 FJ62. The PO put the new paint on. Seems to match fairly well when I compare it to the door wells, where it did not get painted and there is no fading. It's a little dusty in the first pic.

I miss my truck it's been out of commission
Started knuckle -brake rebuild and temps dropped on me for last 3 weeks .
Great to see all the red ones it's motivating
Me to get busy on mine and get it back on the road finally .
My poor truck has taken a beating in the past year including
A tree dropping on it and cracking the windshield.

I'd be way more worried about the wheels than the orange, I actually really like that color on a 62...

FJ40 steelies with hubcaps and 33 BFG muds would look killer.

I am not a red car kind of guy....never was. BUT...there is just something about a red Landcruiser that gets me. They look kick ass in that color...and as I search for my first, red is definitely a color I'd love to own.
