Should have bought a 60 or 62 when I started to love them 12 years ago, but wasn't in the best position to buy back then.
Now have the budget, time and space, and I'm looking for a rust-free FJ60 in red or blue preferably, but would consider other colours since good ones are becoming so damn hard to find. Not afraid of a project — but only if it's totally rust free, runs and drives and is not a basket case.
I'm also in Canada, so will need to ship north at my expense, although I have an excellent shipper that does door-to-door service.
(I'd have to ask for patience in dealing with a long-distance, cross border buyer, though; I've bought other cars from the States and there's a bit of a process.)
I'm a contractor and auto journalist by trade (currently own a 2018 Tundra and 2019 VW GTI) and fastidious about my vehicles, so any seller can be assured their baby would be going to a great home with a good garage.
