Finished product is acceptable for my needs. Skin was purchased through US Auto Seat Covers on Ebay, paid $150 via best offer. The color is close, not as shiny though. Fit was ok and took a little finagling, it certainly is not an OEM part. I feel for the price it is better than a set of aftermarket seat covers.

I chickened out and paid a local upholsterer to do it. $350 including the material (I think they used the same Ebay supplier) and they fixed up the foam on the door side. If your original leather is shiny use a leather cleaner and then conditioner on it. I learned through YouTube leather should be more of a flat finish if clean. So I cleaned mine and it is flatter now.
