Dunno, but much too nice to get bar oil all over..LOL.

Look on the bright side, they'd be waterproofed for reaching into the water hazard.

Does this mean I need to trade in the Whites for the shoes with the little spikes:confused:

I'll do that, thanks...

If you or anyone runs into a link, please post up..Like I said I wouldn't mind paying some extra bucks..

I have a pair of these- they wear like iron but are soft as a baby's butt. They also have them in lined and padded.

JRC Glove: 439EB Elkskin Unlined

Don't have some of the features you specified- but you can call them and see if there is a model that is what you want.

Oh yeah, since we're supposed to be making recommendations.....

I've started using these:

Wells Lamont Retail Group :: Work Gloves :: Leather :: Ultra Comfort Leather :: Grain Deerskin

I like them a lot, but they only last one season. Maybe the pigskins are better?

If it's a cold/wet morning, I still like these best (see Therma Fit):

ATLAS Glove Consumer Products Palm Dipped

They last multiple seasons, but I don't like to sweat like a pig in them. One recommendation, don't dry them. Washing is OK, but drying them affects the rubberized palm.

agomez, thought you might be on to something here, but your idea sucks (no offense). The bar doesn't even fit into one of the slots.:meh:

"Mechanics" gloves others have posted up.

Synthetic Leather
Breathes

They outlast deer skin and are compairable to calf skin. In reality, Goat skin will outlast them, boar skin wil outlast them 2 - 1 but takes awhile to break in.

These are about 6 weeks old.

These are the Bomb Diggity!

Elk Hide
Double Layer in all the contact points
Elastic Closure

These have about 50 cord of wood on them.

Cutting the wood
Splitting the wood with Hydraulic splitter
Loading the truck
Unloading the truck
Stacking on the pile
Cleaning the firebox, etc.

I would like to find these in Kangaroo but until recently you could not buy anything made of Kangaroo skin in California.

X2!

If you discover a box of the ones in post 29 that someone forgot about, keep me in mind. And the elk hide in #32, who makes them?
