You did not drive via the infamous Kalahari corrugations ;)
I thought Andrew St Pierre White was the only one who drove on those roads. :)

I’m not really bashing the stock seats...my truck just didn’t come with them. For the same or less money as oem seats Im upgrading to more comfortable aftermarket ones.

Most of my Cruiser seats were made with that miracle fabric called Naugahyde. Although it's been around for decades it was one of the first materials that allowed the driver to have "climate control" without any input. (Hot in the Summer, cold in the Winter). :)

Late model Subaru seats will bolt into 70 Landcruiser runners with some flat bar. I’ve been checking them out for a while anything for another 1 inch or two leg room in the hj75.

What year and model did you get them from. Volvo’s are pretty common at pick n pulls but the only ones I see that are worth grabbing are black leather. Not friendly in Texas with no AC.

I made some brackets in a matter of hours to fit my seats. $30 worth of steel and a few bolts. I just have two 2" wide crossbars per seat fit to the Recaro, and then the Toyota sliders. 8 holes total per seat, 4 per crossbar. I'd recommend this route over the headache of trying to find some adapters, I don't think they exist.

By my count it is 6. Soon to be 7. Thats not even counting Bend/Eastern Oregon!

We have 3 Troopies in Bend now, and a couple more 70 series. Shortbois and a Ute.

There was about 5 at one point when 6070toyetero was here. He's the guy with the Australian connections, but he's off in Georgia now. Flying planes.

They are from an s60. Dark gray. Not sure of the exact year 2002. Great solid seats
