so the rear wiper was hit by a tree branch, and now just sorta hangs there, its on the post, and moves freely, but doesnt work. is this just a stripped bushing perhaps?

the splines on the inside of the arm might be stripped. Take it off and see. For a cheap fix you can use JB weld. I used JB weld on mine about 5 years ago and it is still holding. You could find another arm for the same price as JB weld though :D

fixed it last night roughed it up w some 80 grit applied jb weld, good as new-ish. well at least it works now.
