rear wiper doesn't return to start (1 Viewer)

My rear wiper (FJ62) quit returning to start. It works well, and the intermittent part still works, but when I turn it off, it just stops.

What can I check to figure out how to fix it?

Wire is broken where the tailgate to body connect is. Mine did the same thing.
