Just picked up an '89 62 yesterday.
193K on the clock but hasn't run in a few years, that is next.
Hopefully sort of a barn find; pics to come later.

The rear window was smashed & I have a replacement on the way. The gasket doesn't look bad but should I not be cheap & use a new gasket?

Any hints of installing the window?

Should I use some urethane adhesive (i.e., windshield glue) to keep it from shifting around and squeaking (like an improperly installed windshield; I guess it won't flex much being part of the lift gate though....).

Looking forward to this build!!
Diesel? 5.3 Vortec? Stock?

Ahh...the options.
