I suppose I should show this so I save someone the shock

2010 Limited, 225000km on east coast Canada. Dealer applied “protection”, also spayed every year with Rust Check.

Both rear forward fender well’s.

It’s a section that is spot welded on and then fender seam gets seam sealed, which they did but two small holes remain. Water in none out.

Voila, rust/cancer

Repair patch bonded in with aircraft sealant, PRC is a common name in the industry.
Then 2 coats of sealant and paint brushed on, it’s permanent.
