Not sure how to diagnose this. Have a 1973 FJ40 with the single round red rear tail lights. In low beam all lights work-head lights, front and rear quarter lights, rear lights, font and rear turn signals. When I switch to high beam using the turn signal switch on the steering column, the rear running tail lights go off. All other lights work. Hazards work well in both scenarios. Any advice would be appreciated.

Without being at the truck, check your grounds, twice.

I’ve had luck with a small jumper to make sure.

^^^ What he said. Check grounds

See mine and others posts in this thread…it’s almost always related to dirty connections.

I have known and offered the same advice. Let me dive into this some more.
