Can anyone tell me the correct shock mount bolt for the 2016 200 series rear lower shock post? I have stripped some of the initial threads inside the post, need to make sure of the correct thread pitch. Appreciate any help.

Hey I saw your post on the BoiseCruiserHeads email thread. You may want to take the non-stripped bolt to HomeDepot or another hardware store and just match it that way. They generally have the boards up in the Fasteners section with the male and female threaded studs so you can bring in a bolt and figure out the size and thread pitch. I've done that many times when needing to replace something rather than try to dig through a million parts diagrams to find the specs.

this is one of my favorite tools BoltMAX. I also carry this in my truck tool kit just in case.

Was never lucky with finding auto bolts at home depot/lowes type stores. I just tapped a new hole and matched with a like bolt. Quick and easy

You are not going to fine a high strength bolt at Home Depot/Lowe's and you will be risking your life to use one of their Chinese bolts on a suspension. Purchase a Grade 10.9 from a place like Bel-Metric .com or McMaster.com

I’m certainly not advocating buying a bolt there.

I was suggesting this as a simple way to determine the size and thread pitch of the bolt, they generally have sizing boards for a wide range of SAE, Metric and NPT bolts and nuts.

Please do not use HomeDepot/Lowe’s/etc hardware on your suspension components.
