OK, I've searched and can't find anything that indicates which side the upper rear shock plates go on. I also admit that I am an idiot for not paying closer attention. I have springs on, but now have mixed up the shock mount plates. One has an "R" stamped on it, and the other an "L". Does "R" mean right, or passenger, side?

Yes, R= passenger side.

Thanks guys. Installed R on passenger, L on driver side.

the good thing about left and right is that they don't change in Japan or Australia....
:D
