I have roughly a three inch lift on my HJ60.
I'm looking to get the rear shocks replaced. My question is that most manufactures list shocks in their catalogues for the vehicle assuming it's stock height.
Would it be possible to install the rear shocks from a 80 series into my 60? I thought I read somewhere that the 80 shocks are slightly longer than a standard length 60 shock and would work for a 60 with a mild lift.
Anyone want to comment on this?

I have always advised that you buy your shocks based on the dimentions only. Most refference material for Land Cruisers of full of errors and adding a lift only makes it more likely to get the wrong thing. Measure twice, (extended length, compressed length) purchase once.
