I don't see this in the FSM ,am I missing it? I am looking at the page that details the rear shock removal. Has specs for the plates and the top nut.

Now that you say that it makes total sense. Thanks

Per FSM, the torque on the top mount nut is 51 foot pounds, the two mounting bolts are torque to 37 ft/lbs, and the bottom bolt is torque to 47 ft/lbs. Dont forget to use anti-seize compound before installation.

Can you tighten the lower mount bolt with wheels on the ground. Also I only see one bolt head, does it thread into the lower mount

Yes and yes. 47 ft/lbs as per page SA-113 in the FSM.

Anyone comment on this? Does this look normal for rear shock lower mount spacing

The bolt should hit a 'stop' and tighten up against that. It's not meant to tighten up against the lower should bush or the shock itself.

Wrong. The lower bushing has a metal sleeve in it. Torque is 47#ft against that.
